Calton Towers Flyball
« on: April 14, 2009, 11:57:14 AM »
Saw a couple of familiar faces there this weekend :)

Both dogs did really well, Pepper won her starters division, prooving to be a reliable little dog for the team. Also found that she seems to run better following another dog than being in first place.

Kye manged 7th and 5th place in open and multi breed comps. We weren't expecting to come into places with his 2 teams, but he ran really well both days. We had consistant under 22seconds during the open comp on sat. Monday was a bit more hit and miss, due to warmer weather, many races going to 5 legs, a mistake from our box loader (put the ball in befor kye had left and he wanted both balls) and only having 2 small hieght dogs to make up the team.

Weather was kind, a little rain but nothing to complain about, and stayed cool enough to race in, apart from monday afternoon

We're at Drax this weekend too, can't wait!!  :D

Teal and Drake are running in the same team on Saturday (Demon Pawz) and they've been 'loaned out' for multibreed on Monday so will be running in different Rotherham teams.

I was hoping to run Radley (Teal and Drake's daughter) and my little parson in starters but nobody has room for her :(
Cheers
