Just a quick question ...... and I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but since the format has changed how do I add a picture next to my signature ??

Thanks

I've managed to change my avatar OK but like Claire, would like to know how to add a picture next to my signature too. Is this option no longer available or is it that I just cant see how? (My original pic I had in my profile page disappeared when the system changed over last week too).

For some reason I thought you meant avatar ::)

It looks like you just put the link in the signature box.

I think I must be really thick here, but I can only see a request for urls and web thinggys below the signature box and theres no browse facility in the sig box itself, - does that mean if I dont have my own website I cant upload a photo from my own pc files like I did before? Sorry to be so dense, I am new to home pcs and am on a steep learning curve right now...

Copy and paste the link into the signature box.  I'm not great with PC's either ;)

As Mary says copy & paste but use the Insert Image button (second box in on the row above the smileys) making sure your link is inserted between the two bracketed

Hope this makes sense

Mary's right. The pic will need to be hosted somewhere, for example Photobucket, and to be of the right size - no more than 150 x 150 pixels. Then just copy and paste the url in img tags eg:

[img ]  image url  [ /img]  with no spaces between the first [ and the last ]
