Try again Luvly - there's nothing in the settings that should prevent you modifying your posts. If you're still getting a problem, you could try logging out and logging in again to see if that helps.

It's not just you Luvly, I had a notice come up yesterday that said something along the lines of 'your time for modifying this post has expired  :huh: ' The 'modify post' option disappeared for me too.
