Replying to Personal Messages
« on: June 09, 2007, 08:43:00 PM »
Reminder to all members.

When you receive a Personal Message you get an email informing you so, please be aware that this email is simply a notification that you have a personal message stored for you from someone on the forum PM system. On that email there is a quite 'noticeable notice' which reads:

You have just been sent a personal message by amember on CockersOnline Forum.
IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email.

blah blah message

Reply to this Personal Message here: http: // www.cockersonline.co.uk/discuss/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;f=inbox;pmsg=xxxxx;quote;u=xxxxx

This means that in order to reply to the message you MUST log in and use the PM system, if you reply to the notification email your message will NOT be sent to the originator, in actually fact it ends up here in the Cockers Online office email system!

If you are at all worried about emails kicking around containing PM information, you can turn off email notifications by changing the Personal Message options in your Profile.

If you have any questions about this please post them in Forum Support or email info@cockersonline.co.uk
