Photo printer - bargain!
« on: February 13, 2008, 09:18:09 PM »
I've just printed my first photo with this little printer (Epson Picturemate 100) and it's really great quality!  Time will tell whether this is a bargain or not but I had to share!  It only prints postcard size prints but to be honest that's all I need  ;)

I got it from '7 day shop' based in Guernsey and the price is fantastic (I paid £25 and its £22 today)  ::)

The one and only test photo is crystal clear and perfect colour.  It took a while to print and I haven't costed the cartridges yet but .................!

Here's a link ....... if it works http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_2&products_id=100873

They don't seem to be selling any printers on that site now.

Looks promising for cartridges though. Will bookmark them.

I've just searched the site again and can't find it anymore  :-\  I've just sent a message to them to see if they still have any.

I did indeed pay £25 for this printer and it came with ink and 20 photo sheets (extra ink and 135 photo papers were £22 though)  I still think it's a bargain and the quality is brill.  If I printed ALL my holiday pics it would take all night as it's not that quick though  :005:

If they come back to me with the right link  ::) I'll post it on here  ;)

£33 from here: http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/digital-photo-printers/epson-picturemate-100.asp#buy

We've got three of these printers in our house and they are great, even get compatible inks from e-bay for them which work no problems.

7 day shop have confirmed that they've sold out  :o  Not surprised at that price!

If you can get one at a good price then I'd recommend it.  It only prints on postcard size photo paper but that suits me  ;)  It connects to the pc, takes 3 different memory cards, connects to your camera (if it can) and you can order an attachment so you can blue tooth from your phone!

I haven't started using it properly yet but my first attempts have been brill!
