When you join the forum (or have already joined when we were using the old forum) it's very important that you have a valid email account.
When you join, the system will send out a validation email, you must follow the instructions in this email carefully in order to activate your account. No valid email = no forum account.
The same applies to existing members, you should check the email address in your profile (by clicking My Controls) and ensure that it's a valid useable email address. If your email account is invalid you won't receive topic reply notifications and admin announcements etc. Nor will you be able to use the forgot password feature should you forget your password.
We can't tell you what your password is! Passwords are encrypted in the system, we don't have access to them.
Periodically we may send out a mass email to all members, if any of these emails bounce back to us as 'no mailbox' or 'mailbox full' we will delete these members accounts from the forum.
We know many members use Hotmail/MSN/Yahoo! accounts, and we know that these are easily filled up with Spam etc. So please keep an eye on your Hotmail/MSN/Yahoo! accounts so that you are always within your quota.
With this forum, we have set it so that emailing between members is done 'through' the forum, your email address is not displayed on your profile at any time. Currently members can send 10 (ten) emails per day via CockersOnline.
If you do not wish to be contact by other members via the forum email system, simply go to My Controls>Email Settings and choose to Hide your email address.
Please note that if we suspect puppies are being offered for sale via the CockersOnline forum email system we will remove those members accounts.
