Today we have had the most fantastic news, Jaspers albumin levels have gone from dangerously low to normal in one month. I can't quite believe it, I don't think his vet in Cambridge can either. He has also put on a kilo in weight and is looking much better, all thanks to cottage cheese, cod and poached chicken breast. His anaemia has responded and we can stop his iron tablets and there is even talk of cutting his pred again. I have never been so pleased to get a set of blood tests back (usually received with great trepidation) even his kidneys are working well. The poor boy has been snogged within an inch of his life bless him.

That's fabulous news Deb, I'm so chuffed for you and Jasper :clapping: :luv: :luv:
Funny but Tilly's been on a cottage cheese and rice diet for a few weeks now (nasty prescription food in the mornings and cc and rice at lunch and dinner) and was doing relatively well on it until her setback the other night... I think it's revolting stuff but it seems to work for the dogs!
