Argh! Whilst we were in the dining room eating our Fathers' Day lunch, young Ted was in the kitchen finishing off the Fathers' Day Toblerone. :o :o :o
OH reckons there were only 2 or 3 triangles left, and it was the milk chocolate variety (28% cocoa). This shouldn't be enough to do him any harm, should it? He's only 7 months, but he's a fairly chunky 13kg. :luv:
Any thoughts or opinions gratefully received. :D

I wouldn't worry about it to much.
Paisley ate a whole box of lindor wrappers an all. He was fine.
Just keep an eye on him I don't think it will hurt. Paisley didn't even have a bad stomach.

He might have the squits but he'll be ok. Toblerone is milk chocolate and as little as 3/4 triangles shouldn't harm him. Dark bitter chocolate is far more dangerous and they still need to eat a fair quantity before becoming ill.

Thanks for the responses. :D
He seems absolutely fine, and I've calmed down a bit now. ::) He's known for having a fairly strong stomach so we'll have to see what happens. ph34r

Niki shared all my chocolate with me during his life as I'd never heard it was poisonous to dogs. Infact he ate biscuits, chocolate, cakes, they made him special burgers at the local Tootsies burger restaurant, he had pasta and sauce, curries, everything. He lived to 12 and a half. Most of it was milk but some was dark chocolate as well. Just monitor him, he'll probably be fine, as someone said, maybe an upset tummy.
