Title: rolled in oil help!

Help! Ruby has rolled in some oil substance ..any ideas on best clean up safety precautions? JO  >:(

They use washing up liquid on birds. might be worth a go.

thanks ladylola! have done just that seems to have cleaned the little blighter well..was worried she d lick and swallow residue! off to have shower as she shook on us both ..she was really good for once! best bath in ages..had rolled in poo earlier so double whammy!  >:D   :luv:

Oh poor Ruby  :luv:   Glad the washing up liquid did the trick & she's a clean girl once again.

(we had a pussy cat that jumped in a full paint scuttle - luckily only emulsion & not gloss  :fear2: - & we were advised to wash in a 'better known' brand of washing up liquid too  ;) )

I was going to suggest the washing machine...And Finnish her of in the tumble dryer.... ;)
