Hi Everyone.
My little Freya has a really dry, crusty nose. I have tried rubbing vaseline in daily............but it doesn't seem to be making any great difference.
Do you have any tried and tested remedies?
Thanks in advance. :luv: :luv:

Sorry to hear about Freya's nose. I used to use E45 cream on Holly and it worked well,(vet recommended)

Thank you so much Holly Berry... :luv: :luv:
I have heard of this cream before....................so, now that you recommend it, I will give it a try.
Poor little girl looks really odd.............all crusty. :005:

Kizzy has always had a crusty nose, i just used vaseline, but it seems to be worse if she eats those rawhide chews, they seem to bung her up so i stopped her having them

That is very interesting...................I give Freya rawhide chews. Do you think it makes a difference now? If so, I'll have to try to find an alternative chewy. :luv: :luv:

I watched a program this week where they put KY jelly on a lizard to help it shed its dry skin not sure if this would work on a cocker nose

definatley, its much better when she has other chews such as tripe sticks . it only effects kiz not my other three, but her nose is worse when shes had them, i have had to unblock one of her nostrils as its been completely closed over with gung, so i dont give her them at all now
