Title: Scab under eye

Tali has this small scab under his left eye which I noticed the other day. He had been rubbing that eye sometimes with his paw like it was itchy and I worried his eye may be getting dry like the other one.

Yesterday as his head was turned into the light I saw this slightly crusty greyish looking scab. If I touch it it is very slightly raised and it irritates him as he tries to scratch it. He won't let me have a good look.

Anyone have any ideas as to what it may be?

It is much smaller than a tick, though I guess not if he'd knocked the body off himself. I've also wondered if it was the beginnings of a wart?

henry had one of these at start of year. asked the vet when we were having jabs and she said it was a blocked hair folicle and sqeezed it, she said it would keep 'filling up' but would go within 3 months so not to worry. and it has disappeared this weekend. looked like a tick on his eyebrow on first glance but greyish. could be what yours has

Ok thanks he's got his jabs soon so will ask then.

He's almost 15 months Poppsie.  ;)
