Title: Agility classes/clubs in manchester
Post by: jo.ebony on October 18, 2011, 09:41:58 AM
Hi Guys,

Does anybody know of any clubs or classes in the manchester area?
Would love to get Ebony into it.
Do she need to be trained to a certain standard or anything like that?

Thanks

Jo & Ebs x

Sorry I don't know the area, but you could also look on the agilitynet website, they have a list of clubs & you can search by area
http://www.agilitynet.com/

From personal experience Ebony would just need to have a decent recall as you want her to stick with you or if she does get distracted & wander off you'll need to be able to recall her

I live in Radcliffe, so would need to be around Bury/Ramsbottom/Whitefield/Prestwich or Bolton.

She's not to bad on recall but could do with a bit more training just in case  :D

You might find some from this map - good luck

Don't worry too much about a recall

Hi there are a few  agility clubs that come to mind that may be worth checking where they train

Ribble DTC
Wilmslow
Newton Heath

They should be listed on the Agilitynet club page they are KC registered clubs but there will be some other agility clubs that are not KC registered in the area I am sure

I can recommend waggawuffins.

http://www.waggawuffins.com/

We took Barney to bronze classes there and would have continued but it was just a bit too far for us to travel (an hour away).  They are really good and use clicker training and positive methods.
