Title: CAESSR - Kes and Darth, Chocolate working types.

This lovely pair are mother and son and have been living in a car.  :o
They would love a home together.  :luv:

Kes is a 9 year old Chocolate working type Cocker and Darth is a 6 year old Chocolate working type Cocker. They are mother and son. They have come to CAESSR along with an elderly Springer. The were living in a cage in the back of a car as their family had been made homeless. Kes and Darth are not used to cats, but seem to be very pleasant dogs. We can home them together or separately. We are told that Kes has a problem with a back leg, but she seems to walk OK. She will be checked by our vet. Darth needs two back teeth removed. He has a slight under-shot jaw with some teeth protruding. He was extremely good when he visited the vets. Kes is good on the lead. Darth is quite good on the lead but his recall needs training.

So sad that these dogs have to suffer because of the times we live in. Hope that they find a home together and with their springer friend.

Oh that is heartbreaking

Clearly the family really wanted to keep them and probably tried as long as possible to make it work.

At least they did the right thing

So sorry for that family who as well as being homeless had to give up their pets

Hopefully they will be rehomed soon

So sad that the family have had to give these lovely dogs up  :'(

How awful, it appears that their family really tried to keep them  :'(  They must be devastated  :'(

Hope they find a lovely home and preferably together  :luv: :luv:

Both Kes and Darth have now found new homes.  :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:
Unfortunately, not together but I suppose this isn't always possible.
