23-05-12 Daniel is a male Cocker Spaniel pup and is 16 weeks old. He is gorgeous and wriggly and happy and lovely BUT he is blind. He ideally needs a home where there is experience training blind dogs but anyone applying must have thoroughly researched working with a blind dog. He might benefit from another kind and gentle dog to copy and follow but we will consider applications from the right home where there is no resident dog. He will need to attend puppy training classes and to be castrated at 6 months of age.

What a complete sweetie :luv:. All fingers and toes crossed for the best ever forever home with lots of snuggles.

He really is adorable & from experience, can't express how wonderful a little pup without sight can be - they can grow up to be just as confident & merry as any cocker with sight ;) :luv: :luv:
Really hope this little chap finds his perfect forever home soon  :-*

He is gorgeous but 6 months is too early to castrate IMO

I think so too. I have noticed this is often a requirement that rescues insist on. Whilst I understand the desire to prevent more puppies, 6 months is (in my opinion) too early to neuter.
I hope this little chap finds the right home very soon. :luv: :luv:

What a sweetie, hope someone will see passed his disability.
I've had dogs that have gone blind and they've been fine and I'm sure this little fella will be too, but I'd imaging if he's been blind from birth having another dog of two already in the family will help greatly to keep him orientated because he'll follow them which will hopefully help with his training.

If I could, I would have had him by now :luv:
