Title: Flo's howling
Post by: Clare B on September 23, 2012, 10:01:06 AM
Flo is missing everyone, with my sons and Hubby in the UK and just my daughter and myself here the house is very quiet.   To make it harder for her it's school holidays here now and my daughter is spending alot of days and nights at friends places.  Si Flo is stuck with me while I sort and organize the big move to the UK.  We have been invited more evenings than not tofriends places for dinner ( they all know my household is unusually quiet si are wanting to fill the gaps for me  :luv: ) and I have taken Flo with us so she is not left alone for long periods.  I guess it's a big adjustment for her without the comings and goings of my tribe and their friends.  I've taken her for lots of long walks and giving her cuddles, but it doesn't make up for the missing of the action packed household.
She howls when she's in the same room as me and I'm busy, she howls when she hears kids in the street, she howls when I'm on the phone ..... Poor mite no used to a quiet life  :005:

Oh bless her  :luv:  must be such a big adjustment for her. How was she in kennels?  I guess that was quite a shock for her, and then to come back to everyone gone she's probably thinking WTF  :005: :luv:   :bigarmhug:'s for your lovely girl - reckon you're all going to be so happy once your back together over here  :luv:

Flo didn't end up going to the kennels, friends who have Flos littermate insisted on having her stay while I was away, and she had a ball there with lots of action and love.... She's probably missing them too :-\

Actually I'm so pleased to have her howling company because with an empty house I would be howling like a cocker if I didn't have Flo to spend time with.  Just went for a lovely evening walk around the neighborhood together, now home and Flo is snoozing on the sofa  :luv:

Ahh, poor Flo, and poor you!  It's awful when you are used to a full house!  Just keep on looking forward, you'll soon be moved to the Uk and all together again.  Sending hugs to you all  :bigarmhug:
