Charlie got collected last night by Eileen, and we miss him already!

I think there are two excellent possible homes waiting for home checks and then Charlie will have a forever home.

I must admit though, it was harder work than I expected with three cockers in the house. It made us realise what a lovely routine we have going and how having another adult dog around throws it all into chaos! Dylan the rabbit is now very relaxed again and playing in the garden with Woody!

I think Charlie had a lovely Christmas though but we realised after he had left that he had left his Christmas toy behind   :(   Maybe we'll post it to him!!!  :D

He has gone back to live with Eileen and her brood until he goes to his new home. I think we should hear where he's gone in the next few days and hopefully we will get to hear about his new life on the forum!

That's great that he's not going to be waiting long. I was tempted myself, if only he'd been a girl. (With 2 boys already, I think a girl would fit in more.) Oh and I'd have to do some persuading of course. I'm glad that he had a lovely Christmas with you and yours.

Aw at least you gave him a good Christmas. I know what you mean about the 3rd dog though as we had our in laws with their dog all over Xmas. He's not really any trouble but it was more work.

:D Hi all, especially Toni, Daisy and Woody. I can finally post this now as I'm not tempting fate..... Charlie has officially moved in with us after picking him up from Eileen yesterday. What a great little chap he is!! He has taken everything in his stride, continiously wagged his tail throughout and seems to have got his paws well under the table, so to speak. He's getting on very well with our 15 month old female border collie, 4 cats and the rabbit, although I think he might want to get a little more friendlier with the rabbit!!!!  So pleased to finally have him with us...
