As i said I can't get hold of my boss until tomorrow but if i can get time off that weekend  which would be the 4th and 5th of february would that be good for you?
I have a comfortable spare room if you fancied a weekend in York. It's very nice this time of year you know.
This would give it a great chance of success.
Failing that I could meet you half way, where ever that maybe, but then if it doesn't work we'd have to have a plan.
let me know what you think.

Yes that weekend would be ok (nothing in the diary anyway :)) That's very kind of you to offer to put us up but with our own doggies to look after, planning even a night away requires military planning and finding a dog sitter  I've already told Alison that if it doesn't work out with you, we will have Bayley back as we don't want him being passed from pillar to post :)

He's doing fine :) He's now rubbing along quite happily with our older boy, something I didn't think would happen so it just shows that sometimes it takes a while for dogs to accept each other. He's still a little wary of tall men - I had friends visit this morning and he was fine with the wife but got a bit upset when the husband (very big & tall) put his hand out (I had actually asked him not to do this!) He soon settled though & was taking biscuits from Martin five minutes later ;) He's now resting after a mad play session with Jasper (Sage's brother who was visiting too)) - don't suppose he'll be resting for long as his internal clock will be reminding him it's tea time soon

It's a good job I'm vertically challenged then :D   I'm only 5ft 5 and a half ( although I do tell people I'm 5ft 6)
Does he react at the doorway or is it towards people anywhere?
Could you let me know as much about his likes and dislikes, habits etc as possible?
What size crate is he in? Do you want to sell me the one he has got if all goes according to plan?
