This is Cassie, a sweet 4y old blue roan cocker girl who's now looking for a new home.
Cassie is now spayed (stitches out this Wednesday), recently had teeth out and rest have had a good clean and polish, and she has been given a good checkup by my vet. She is also fully vaxed, wormed and frontlined. My vet commented on how gentle she was at her 1st checkup with him (she will let you wipe here eyes and ears quite well but so far won't let me use scissors on her but she's relatively mattfree at the moment anyway).
She came from a home with a 9 year old child but I feel she wouldn't fit in to a very noisy household. She loves people and is a little shy when she 1st meet strangers but she will very quickly want them to give her a cuddle. Cassies gets on with other dogs (and cats) but again I feel she would be better with calm(ish) dogs around her (mine have their moments but they leave her alone as they have each other and don't bounce all over her). While she's been here she's really coming out of herself each day. Cassie love her walks and will go offlead for the 1st time this week (she's been on lead only walks due to her spay, but was fine after a 3-hour one on saturday with my two). She may need a little work on her lead walking (but at 10kg in weight its not too painful)!
She's being fostered in Cardiff at the moment and is being rehomed by
Four Paws Animal Rescue South Wales. Anyone who's interested will be homechecked, and a minimum donation fee will go to rescue. New owners will also sign an adoption agreement. When the prospective owner passes the homecheck they will have to come down to Cardiff to meet Cassie.
