Wend thats good news  he's still alive but why if he's that close hasn't he gone home poor fellow.
Fingers crossed the humans find him.

sal/Oska

It does seem strange that he can't find his way home as its only up the road, perhaps he doesn't want to cross the M40 again.

Could be he's a tad senile and can't find his way home.

My last Cocker managed to slip out one day - he was about thirteen or so - and a neighbour found him about two hundred yards away totally lost.

Prayer's for Smartie's safe return home
« Reply #18 on: January 21, 2008, 02:14:31 PM »
Hi everyone,
I really do believe in the power of prayer, so please, I'm asking for all of you  to pray for the safe return of Smartie, the  12 year old black and white cocker who went missing on the Sat 12 th of Jan. (He ran across a very busy dual carrageway and then over the busy 6 lanes of the M40 at J/11  :o (thank god he made  it to the other side safely)   and he was last seen running down through the fields that run alongside the motorway,  there has been no sightings of him  since then,  also there is no report of him being hurt on the road.
His owner who bred and showed cocker's is beside herself with worry for him, as with the rotten weather we are having and his age, also as he is her last cocker, his brother going to the Rainbow Bridge only 6 months ago.
He has been put on to a lost site, but please send lots of prayers for him and that he may be found safe and well, I not sure if I should have posted here so please forgive if I shouldn't have. I just feel so helpless  :'( (and want to do something to help and like I said I really do believe that when many people get together and send positive thoughts, things can be turned around.

I do hope he's found soon and returned to his owner.

I know if he were mine I'd be distraught.
