I'm afraid it's not easy to trace pedigrees if there are no well-known affixes involved - Monty's Mum & Dad came from a commercial kennel whose lines do eventually go back to better known show lines such as Cardamine. I believe there is also some Working Cocker breeding being used by this particular commercial kennel so Monty could be a blend of both types.

J Golden Rainbow is Cardamine Bracken Brown x Jafare Sweetheart

C Bracken Brown = Cardamine Catchphrase x Cardamine chococcino

Jafare Sweetheart= Pierrot Morning Glory x tansy Lass

cardamine catchphrase= C jaffa King x C Cinnamon

cardamine chococcio= C Just Dandy x C Cappuccino

Pierrot Morning Glory = Helleborus Thunderbug x Ocean Pearl

Tansy Lass= Cardamine Jaffa King x Cardamine Velvet Tansy

if you give me the BRS code on your reg document for the dam - will have her name then something like this in brackets (AC2) or (AD1), Ill have a look as I havent had much time over last year or 2 to update my database but sure her parents will be on it if I manually look up who they are in the paper copy of the BRS

if you want, once have found the code after dams name, I can print you off a five gen pedigree, or alternatively, you can order from the kcs web site - they have an online facility for ordering pedigrees.

Does Monty have his registration certificate then? I assumed as a rehome, he wouldn't as most rescues don't pass paperwork on to new owners.

Yes it is but Monty wasn't bred there - his parents were.
