Rosie is on natural instinct at the moment and doing fantastic i dont think i got my point across FANTASTIC !!!!!  :shades: :005: but we are taking a trip up to dublin which is quite a long way over 2 hours i think and its for the funeral of a family friend so cant be missed but i cant bring her natural instinct with me so i will have to buy some dry what do COLers recommend? and quick answers would be appreciated as we will have to buy very soon   ;)

and also i am worried about switching food so soon with a pup although she switched very well on to natural instinct  :-\

Or how about giving her Nature Diet, this is a wet food but won't go off. My eldest two dogs are going into boarding for a week soon (the breeder if having Alfie back). The boarder doesn't have enough freezer/fridge space so Basil and Eddie will be having Nature Diet that week. ;)

i had thought about nature diet but its to late to order that now . i thought that it might go of if left out that long well i suppose if i brought it frozen and then had a cold bag or something do you think it would be ok it would be about 4 hour there and back plus the time we spend there?

If you take it out just before you leave and put some of those cool block things in there i should think it would be fine.

You might find she rejects a dry food. I had the opposite experience with Jonny when he was young. He was used to dry food and when we were visiting friends one day we stayed later than expected. The only food the local shop had was tinned food. He just wouldn't touch it! Ended up crumbling rice cakes  :020: for him to crunch!

If its too last to order NI for you now why not just get some mince from the suppermarket
and take that in a cool bag it will be better than kibble

one thing you need to remember is that they are dogs.... there stomach can tolerate a lot more that we can
a few hours not being in the fridge will do them no harm
