You're 100% right Sharon it isn't easy but I went into it with my eyes open and lots of support from both Codas breeder and the stud breeder, a few friends I've made through COL and along with the marvellous advice from all COL members I am determined to get both Coda and her little family through all this.
Decided to put my mind at rest and take mum and the 3 poorly pups back to the vet today as I was worried I wasn't getting it right . He has thoroughly examined the 3 little ones and said that I have probably saved their lives by intervening so quickly and that I should continue to feed all 3, 2 hourly at least for the next 24 hours and continue also letting them have 1st feed from Coda for 5 mins before the bigger ones latch on. Says its still touch and go with the smallest girl

but at least I'm giving her a fighting chance and that the 2 others look as though they're through the woods and if they are latching on ok by later this evening and look as though they are getting a good feed then just top them up 4 times a day for another few days.
He had another good look at their palates but still thinks they are ok as they are latching on and suckling and there isn't any milk coming down their noses but he says he'd like to see them again in 4/5 days when they will be a little bigger and he can better check them.
Coda had her calcium levels checked too and everything is fine so all in all I feel a lot better although I do realise its early days. And she is laying for them now thanks Lucy - at least 90% of the time so it makes it easier for the pups and lets her get a rest during the feeding too which I think she's suddenly realising

Thanks again everyone for all your great advice and just for your support in general. There's nothing better at that low point in the wee early hours of the morning than just knowing there will be someone on COL with some answer to your questions
