Be careful what you wish for, you are about to enter a rollercoaster ride from joy to dispair and back again, a baptism of fire we seem to have to go thro' when taking on cockers. ;)

I know the feeling, after a mad dash to the vets this morning after eating a bee and his face swelling we come home and he is still eating crap of the floor you would have thought he would have learned his lesson. I know he is feeling better because i have just had to chase him around the garden in the rain to get him to come in, whilst he just rolls in the wet grass and dances in any puddle he can find and know he is in he is just glaring at me because i had the cheek to dry him. God help me when he does get to that teenage stage because he is only 3 months old

Actually Lisa, I've been thinking about this one for five seconds long and hard since reading your post and I've come to a decision. Just to help you out you understand - I'll take her off your hands, no worries, I'll have her, it's fine, don't worry at all  :luv:  :luv: :005:

...bet you've changed your mind now  :005:

I will swap you for an actual stroppy teenager ;) ;) ;)  give me a cocker anyday :005:

Me too...stroppy teenagers of the cocker variety are waaayyy easier to handle than the hooman variety >:D

Gosh yes cocker teenagers don't get drunk and vomit on the carpet
don't phone at 2:pm in the morning because they have missed the last train home( and the concert finished at 11:00 )
leave any food on their plate  because they don't like it although it was ok the week before
try and turn the TV over to another channel as they have rushed in and realised they are missing something that started half an hour ago.

should I go on.. I haven't even mention smoking and the opposite sex  :D
but we love them all really. :D

Her bags were packed but she has just been a complete  on this afternoons walk, ignored the fresh steaming pile of horse poop, sat calmly at my side whilst said horse clomped past (her brother was straining on the leash trying to go with the horse), 100% success with recall, sat/down/stayed on command (this is a rarity) and barely barked when we met some strangers in the wood.  I think she read the re-homing memo I left on her spot on the sofa after lunch so for now she can stay!!
Her brother is now up for re-homing as he didnt ignore the fresh steaming pile of horse poop :020:, didnt sit/stay/down on command and his recall which is usually 100% was non-existent >:D

I have decided not to leave the house again today for fear of being further shown up by the four legged fiends I live with and have instead written today off to experience and have cracked open a bottle of vino collapso.

Cockers who'd have them >:( >:( >:( >:( :005:

I'd have her.....she is gorgeous.   Send her soon.  It is obvious, looking at that photo, that she's been blamed wrongly.  :005:

Don't you just love them  :luv: ever wondered
what would we do without them. ;)
No nore muddy paw prints on newly cleaned floors,
No more fighting to get one's bum on the settee first.
No more trying to get to the bathroom and shut the door before
it is flung open by several hairy torpedo's
No more soulful eyes watching every mouthful of food you eat.
No more being dragged out for a walk  in the wet
No more being sat on...snogged with wet sloppy kisses.
No more cocker cuddles.
Thinking about it .....I wouldn't change a thing about them.
We love them warts and all.
