have to agree. Having never bred, its interesting to see all the hard work that goes into making the best matches & all that has to be thought about.

Dylan had a bitch come to him last summer, she flirted, stood solid, but the minute they tied she turned into a bucking bronco and screamed the place down, my shins/thighs/arms/hands were black & blue bruised where I had to hold them both so tightly to stop trying to kick poor Dylan away  ph34r.  The timing was spot on as she had 8 pups.  Just some bitches suddenly realise, once it's too late, that they don't actually like being mated.

I couldn't do it that's for sure,i think it would upset me if it was my bitch acting like that, so this is not for a novice  :-\ .
(not meaning you Dipsy  ;) )

Tis very interesting thread though.
People laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at them because they are all the same.

That was worst case, most are pretty good and don't flinch, but I needed to point out the bad as well as the good, every bitch is different so you need to be prepared for every occasion.

Its also a good idea too get a recepit, saying in the event off no pups you get a free mating, as a stud dog owner, I always do this, have even given a free mating when bitch has had only one pup,
