Feeding Bowls
« on: May 02, 2005, 12:44:17 PM »
I live near Sherborne, on the Somerset/Dorset borders and have a beautiful 3-month blue roan cocker called Paddy, given to me 10 days ago by my daughter ("Scotty" - "Sleepless in Derbyshire").

Does anyone know, please, where I can buy a spaniel feeding bowl, preferably stainless steel?  I have been trawling the Internet but without success.

Welcome to the forum. I moved your post to the general section where it should be.

As for the bowls - you can get them from most places - Pets at Home for example - I found this online link for you:

not a company I've used so can't comment how reliable they are.

Enjoy your new puppy :D

We have just got the normal 6.5 inch stainless ones for their food, with an 8.5 inch for their water.  We got two stands last year at Crufts which  are 6 inches high - the smaller bowls fit into the top, and the larger bowl fits into the bottom when you flip it over!  This means the dogs eat without having to lean right down to the floor and when they drink their ears don't dangle in so much !!  They don't need both at once, since one large water bowl suffices when they have finished their food.

We think they are much better than having the bowls on the floor - they stay where you put them for one thing !!

Hi Vilya

Good to meet you. I have a blue roan boy, Titus, (18 weeks).

We found a spaniel bowl at Pets at Home. They had stainless steel as well as china ones. Hope you have a branch near you.

How are the nights going now.? I hope Scotty is settling well and letting you get some sleep  :)
