We were originally going to get a Cavalier before we got Scooby (my friend has one and she's really sweet) but OH insisted he wanted a "proper dog" (as he put it) - I think my friend put him off cause she told him it's just like owning a cat

OH is 6ft 2" so didn't want to look like he's walking a rat

We are hopefully going to be getting another pup later in the year (a cocker) but did think again about getting a cav cause I thought maybe two cockers would be bedlam but, again, OH says no way.
Love Joanne, Misty & Scooby

They look gorgeous :)
My parents have got a cav, he's a blenheim and is a real sweetie.
They seem to be a very affectionate breed.

Yes he is rather gobby isn't he Rach, mind you Ruby put him in his place (which she does when she can!)

Scooby's mum you should see the size of my friend's cavs as they're as big and one is bigger than my cockers!

I actually saw a lady with 3 cavs last week and one was actually bigger than Scooby - do they come in different sizes (like a standard and a toy).

I think with cavs its the same as cockers in that se are just different sizes but there's no differentiating them as toy or standard. Mine are small cockers compared to others but I've met one of JaneS pups (now an adult) who's smaller than mine.

A friends ruby cav is twice the size of Rach's ruby, Charlie

Yes Ellie is very small for a Cocker, she was always tiny right from birth but had the biggest personality in the litter by a mile  Just to show how size can vary hugely even in the same litter, I trimmed one of Ellie's brothers the other week & he is quite a heavy weight, bigger than the average Cocker anyway :)

Whoopie - now Milly - came to live with us and my Collie cross Sophie.
They are getting along great and Milly is such a little sweetie - Sophie bless her went all mummsie on us!
Thanks Rach for pointing me in the direction of this site.
