Percy was weighed when he went to the vets for boosters the other day. He is 13.5kg which the vet says is perfect but I reckon he could stand to put on a little more as he looks on the lean side.

Last time Tia and Abi were weighed that was only ounces between them, they were both just under 10kg, and that was in March.

Bracken is about 10kg, i thought she was a bit little. So sneakily compared her to the other cockers we saw at the Bath and West show yesterday. She seems to be a little narrower than some of the other ones, but as lots of others seem to be around 10kg I guess tis ok

This is a very interesting topic for us cus Andy is always concerned that Maxwell is over weight. He's a big lad and weighs in at 15kg but doesn't look overweight. You can still feel his ribs and he has a definate waist. We were led to believe that Cockers were around 10 - 12kg fully grown but I guess they're all different and we've just got a heavy weight!!! Maxwell is fit and healthy which to us is the main thing, he is walked 3 times a day and not over fed.

When i previously posted Molly weighed 10kg and Honey weighed 4kg.

Now Molly weighs 9.6kg and Honey is 6kg!

I think Honey is going to be a totally different size to Molly as she's catching her up very quickly!!!

Is putting on 2kg in 2 weeks normal for puppies or do you think i should cut down her food?

Wow I didnt realize thet they would vary so much in size. Maudie was 11.9kg last time she was weighed but since she had her first season  she seems to have filled out quite a bit. She is also quite tall being almost 16". I am worried that she may put on too much weight when I have her spayed but I guess if I monitor her closely I should be able to stop this happening!

We have been the vets today and Jessie weighed in at 12.9 kg. This is about 1.5kg too much for her so we are going to up the exercise now the warmer weather is here and watch what we eat so we can drop it off over the next few weeks  :D
