Hi Phil
Im so very very sorry to hear your news ..........., I remember you I.M me regarding Honey not long after your had her .....
We went through a similar experience last year , my father in law had a springer spaniel , and was VERY unpredictable , he turned on his wife and on my husband (he still has scars ) ....... then last May he turned on my father in law , my father in law phoned us straight away as the dog wouldnt let him out off the room . We went down , opened the door and 'Bruce' was back to his normal self ........... unfortunatly he'd left no option and we called the emergancy vet , and took him to be put to sleep , i can WHOLEHEARTEDLY understand the pain your going through, we asked the vet if there was anything else we could do i.e being rehomed etc.. but we knew deep down he couldnt be trusted ...
That was the worst thing i have EVER had to do as when we left Bruce with the vet , he was back to 'normal' ............
IF YOU WANT TO CHAT JUST I.M ME ...............
My father in law was not put off though hes now got another Springer 'SAM' whos as daft as a brush , regretably my father in law has not seen him since April as he had a stroke and is in hospital , but hes going home for an hour on Monday ........ just to see SAM !!
THINKING OF YOU !!!!!!!!
