I have posted before when Ruben was going in under anthesetic to have his tear duct flushed. Just an update to say the procedure was successful however it took the vet 2 hours to complete, then, a week later we went for a check up and it is blocked again, the vet says if it is blocked again after just a week its going to happen every time so pointless keep paying out to have it done every 2 weeks, and the only thing we can do is get referred to an eye specialist!!! But, it does not bother Ruben at all the only thing is the black tear stain he has under one eye, i am sick of people asking me what is the mark under his eye or why does your dog have a black eye. I have the eye lotion from PAH and also the tear stain wipes (i spent a good 20mins wiping when he was asleep) and nothing seems to shift it, i wondered if anyone could recommend or suggest an alternative
