Well - took both my cocker friends to the vet this morning and Wendy (our vet) agreed that it sounds like Ruffy has a sensitive tummy.
She thinks it maybe worth while to have a blood test done to check for sensitivities.
Wendy did say that sometimes it's possible to pinpoint a cause, other times it's not so simple, but that some, not all, dogs do grow out of this.
She also reckons that the boking and gagging that's happening may well be due to excess stomach acid/reflux, which ties in with the possible IBS.
So - now we have to wait for the blood tests.
Vahri had her check up too, and is a fine strapping healthy big lass
