:cry: it saddens me to tell you all that yesterday we lost our beloved Bentley who i introduced you all to in this topic : http://www.cockersonline.co.uk/forum/viewt...4390&highlight=

We took him in to get nuetered and prior to the surgery when they inserted the breathing tube fluid and blood came up out of his chest ... he went into cardiac arrest and was given CPR and stablilized .... they then took xrays and found he had all sorts of foreign fluid in his body and an enlarged heart ....  the bizzare thing is he had absolutely no symptons anything was wrong and had all of his current vaccinations & checkups he was a very playful puppie ... they also had done a pre-op last week ......  they canceled the surgery and put him on IVs to rid his body of he fluids..... he never gained conciuosness for more than 5 seconds or even really responded to us as we sat with him all day and evening ..... last night his heart just gave out from the stress of what he went thru and he passed away with us at his side..... he would have been 5 months on may 5 and is deeply missed and there is a hjole in our lives after just 3 months with him .......  

just wanted to let everyone know .......

It really saddened me to hear this about your beautiful Bentley, I'm so very sorry for you both.

I am so sorry to hear about Bentley he was so beautiful- my heart goes out to you.  I'm sure he was showered with lots of love during short lifetime,

No words can express how truly sorry I am to hear of the very sad loss of your little chap Bentley :cry:
