As most of you will know, Brook has been quite ill with liver disease. Unfortunately, he started vomiting his water again this morning and looked miserable, so I took him to the out of hours vet where he went to sleep for the last time :cry:  :cry: I've had him since I was 13 years old so am completely heartbroken :cry: I took him back to my own work so that Vegas and Dallas could see him and so that his ashes will come straight to us.  Thank you all for the good wishes over the past couple of weeks - they have meant an awful lot.

I was so sorry to read this post Gill.  I am heartsick for you and your family :cry:   Brooks' suffering may be over but yours is just starting.  There will be a time when you think about him and it won't hurt quite so much even though it may not seem so now.  Words are so inadequate at times like these so chin up, be strong and take good care of yourself.

I am very very sorry to hear your news Gill. I have been following Brooks progress over the last couple of weeks and its a shame he didn't pull through.
