after our hopes of it be8ing a one off, blood was coming from the same area again. Rushed him in, the vet took bloods there and then for analysis - result platelet level low but on the borders of normal, temp slightly raised, a steroid injection and he's back home tonight.

She's sent a serum sample off, but all of his other blood came back as NORMAL the other day, it's so frustrating! :(

I'm just back in now, need to feed the kids and am off to bed.

Oh Shona - I just dont know what to say.  Poor you and poor Hamish.  I really hope they get to the bottom of this.

Im so glad he has got such a caring mummy  :D

I am so devastated for you Shona.  I know it was over six years since I was in your shoes but I remember it as clear as if it was yesterday and my heart breaks for you.  Just hang in there, Chloe is living proof you can come out of this however rough it gets.
