Big Hello To All "col-ites"

Big Hello to all "COL-ites"

We are the proud owners of Harvey - a very hansome black and tan cocker who we collected last Friday (after a month of excited anticipation!)

So far, we have had a week of sleepless nights, earplugs, mop & buckets and chewed ankles - but he is so adorable and that you can't resist his fluffy charm! :rolleyes:

He slept (or was quiet) for 7 hours last night which is a record and has stopped crying when I leave the house for 1/2 hour - I think we may be having a breakthrough....!!

Your collective advice has been invaluable (especially @ 4am when I couldn't get back to sleep)  - and I just wanted to say thank you for keeping me sane!

I will try to load a pic if I can manage

It's an exciting time, hope he soons settles well for you.

We are only a few weeks ahead of you, our Buddy is just 4 months old now. Can barely remember life before him. That might be the sleep deprivation.

Hi fiona and harvey  when we got our pups there was only 2 left, so the first day we got Cal then the next day we went back up and got her sister Roz, and I remember what Cal was like we put her in the hall with all her bedding and such likes and she would just howl, so I stupidly got up with her and tried to cuddle her in , worst mistake as now Cal will lie upstairs on her bed and Roz will lie underneath the duvet with me and thats nearly 6 years on now so dont give in like I did.  Look forward to seeing the pics of harvey.
