New Puppy Lily

Just a quick message to introduce myself and my soon to be puppy Lily.  Lily, a beautiful little black cocker spaniel, will be coming to live with me and my family in just over two weeks and as you can imagine I am getting very excited.

I've read lots of your messages over the past few weeks and have gained a lot of useful information (and lots of laughs!).  As Lily is my first dog, I'm sure in the next few weeks I'll be needing more useful information, so I hope you won't mind me asking lots of questions.

Looking forward to telling you all more about Lily very soon.

Welcome to COL and congratulations on your imminent arrival  :D  I've got two boys - Morgan is almost two and Cooper is 14 weeks  :)  You must be getting very excited - my only advice for making the time pass quicker would be....shop!  :D

Thank you for your replies, this is an extremely friendly site!!

I'm pacing myself with the shopping as I'll probably end up with the contents of Pets At Home in my house!!!

I'm going to visit Lily Thursday morning so will take some pictures then and post them on the site soon after.

I'm very excited, I feel like my children do at Christmas!  Actually I get excited for Christmas too!

Welcome to COL Luan and Lily.  Last summer I was in your position - excitedly looking forward to collecting my black cocker puppy.  I know how excited you must be!  Tilly is now 11 months and a total pleasure to have in the family.  I am sure you will have fun and this site is such a useful source of help and advice.  Can't wait to see the photos!

I think Lily will definately be loopy too, she'll be surrounded by one loopy mum, one loopy dad and two very loopy kids!!!  She doesn't stand a chance at normalness!!!!! :D

We went to see her yesterday and she is growing into a beautiful little girl (and boy has she grown!).  We went straight to Pets at Home after and purchased much more than we are probably ever going to need!!!  We can pick her up next Friday now so I'm on countdown! :D  :D  :D   I must be boring all my friends to tears.

We took a couple of photos, but as she is black they haven't come out that well so I'll wait until we bring her home and I'll take some then to put in the Gallery.

I bet you're really excited, especially as this is your first dog. Lily is a lovely name for a puppy  :)
I have a golden cocker Toby who is 8 mths, we also have an English Setter girl, a cat and 3 kids.
I'm sure you'll get all the help you need on this site  :D
