Yesterday Tilly and Emily were awarded their Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award :D  :D  :D .  I am so proud of both my little girls!  Emily was the only child handler at the test, and despite being very nervous, she did very well.  Tilly was her usual willing-to-please self, bless her, and enjoyed a special tea when she got home.  

I think you COLiners will also be pleased to know that it was a clean sweep for the cocker spaniels at the test!  Of the 7 dogs entered, only 3 passed - all the cocker spaniels!  So much for all the comments about scatty spaniels being hard to train :wink:

Hope you don't mind me sharing that with you - I thought you'd appreciate hearing of another triumph for our lovely breed :D

ps even though my cocker isnt the brightest spark, she's quite easy to train because she's so eager to please - cockers are brilliant all rounders arent they :D

Tilly was very well behaved when i met her (i take it there was no sheep poo to distract her in the class :D  :D)

Well done Emily and Tilly :D  Emily sound just like my little girl and wants to have a go at everything dog related :D she was looking at signing up for agility last night :roll:

Cockers are great we took Billy to dog training last night and Megan (8) handled him for the lesson and he was a star :D

In fact the best behaved dogs there where Billy and Blue (Bluesmum) :D
