Just wanted to say hi and warn you that I'm probably going to be on here asking loads of questions!  I've owned dogs before - labxcollie, Jack Russell and a sheltiexlab but hopefully on Saturday we're going to be collecting a 4yr old rescue cocker named Dollar. As I've never owned a cocker spaniel before I've asked around and been recommended this forum.
Really hoping that we're going to be lucky enough to be his new owners as I think he's going love where we live .  There are open fields and rivers to the back of us.

Congratulations!!  You must let us know how your first weekend goes - at least you can walk him in that wonderful countryside you described!!  We can't wait until our 8 week old is big enough for walks - before he destroys our garden completely!!!  Have fun and keep in touch!   :D

Thanks everyone.  Really looking forward to seeing the little chap tomorrow.  Jo - Iwent through pretty much the same thing with my old dog who was a sheltiexlab who specialised in a wall of death routine around the lounge :D .  I was so glad when he'd had all his injections and could take him out for walks which a least wore him  out - a bit!
