Wish Me Luck Tomorrow
« on: April 24, 2005, 05:02:33 PM »
I'm working from 8.30 am till 12noon, and this will be the first time the boys have been left alone for over 2 hours.

I've been doing it regularly, and Indie has always been fine in his crate, but of course I'm panicking over Hamish. He was crated for three days virtually in hospital, and they both have their own crates here, but of course I'm convinced he'll cry and kill himself throwing himself at the bars

I have to go back to work though, since we got him I've managed to work round it, but now I NEED to go, I'm panicking!

I do hope it goes better than you are expecting, Shona.

Is there anyone who could pop in for you (I'd love to but you can see how I'm fixed!!)

All the best :P

You're going to wonder what you worried about, he'll be as good as gold, I'm sure.

I bet if you sneak back early, you'll find them both with a can of beer each, feet on the table arguing over who has control of the TV remote! :)

Oh, Shona, what a time you have had of it recently!!  :(

I know how you feel though, every time I leave Sophie at the moment I fear the worst every time I go!  And she hasn not been through what wee Hamish has been!

They will be fine, and in their crates is the safest place for them both to be.

You will spend the whole morning clock watching though!  ;)

Aw Shona - I'm sure he will be fine, but I would feel the same  ;) - Annette's suggestion is a good one, just to check they are ok and put your mind at rest.  ;)

Good luck xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks hon, I will certsinly be clock watching all morning. It's so frustrating cos the branch I work at on a Monday had NOT ONE customer last week! It's like I'll have all the time in the world to make up scenarios of horror

They will besafe though, and I'm putting the crates side by side so they can see each other, thanks hon.

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling less panicky now. The pair of them have had such fun today, have been in the garden from the morning, and lying in the sun. Hamish was an angel this morning and didn't get up till 8am! Unheard of, hopefully that continues - the day before he was 7.30am but I haven't said owt in case I jinx it

They are having a great time today, so hopefully they'll be knackered tomorrow.

Lottie has the run of the downstairs when I'm at work.  When I got home at lunchtime the other day, she was laid on the sofa watching the lunchtime news  :o

She'd managed to lay on the remote control and obviously switched it on   She seemed very content

I'm sure they'll be fine Shona.  If they're anything like Lottie I'm sure they'll relish the chance to get a proper kip :D  ;)
