Next Season????

I know all bitches differ, but do any of you have any idea when I should be expecting Butty's 2nd season  :?: She had her 1st one on the 23rd October last year aged 14 months, I really am i expecting the next one anytime now, but she's showing no signs yet  :?

It really does depend on the bitch, Molly had her 1st season at 11 months, her 2nd one  12 months later! My friends black lab, Lucy had her 1st season at 6months , then every 6 months after.

They are all different, I would hazard a guess that Butty might be quite a few months off her 2nd season as she was quite late for her 1st season, but who know's :wink:

It could be anytime Gilly - not much help I know but until Butty has her 2nd season, you've got no way of knowing what her cycle is. Some of our girls have been every 8 or 9 months & a few have been every 12 months or so - it just depends

I've had 2 cocker bitches, the first was every 8 mths and my 2nd seem to be every 6 mths apart.
