what food should i be feeding her?

hi i am needing some help on food i should be giving my 16 week old cocker since leaving the breeders she has been on pedigree puppy dry compleate although she hasnt had any problems with it i read a few bits saying that it is not a very good food to keep her on,and would like some advice on the best food i could get her i have been to pets at home and there are so many but i dont know anyone with dogs to ask this advice and would really be helpfull if some one could tell me a bit about the other brands.
