Vegas Has Poisoned Himself!

Well, it never rains but it pours here! This morning at work, I was dispensing palatable Rimadyl tablets and knocked the bottle on the floor. Well, we now know they are definitely palatable cos Vegas ate 4 of the 100mg ones before I could even blink!! To put it into context, a big fat lab was getting 1 1/2 a day :unsure: and my skinny lad only weighs just under 12kg. He has had an injection to make him vomit(it worked - he has been vomiting for the past hour but seems to be tapering off now) but he is still very wobbly on his legs and pacing backwards and forwards. He is going to be put on fluids which will hopefully make him feel better.

Oh no. Cockers always have a habit of keeping you on your toes and the vet in business with their antics. Hope he feels better soon and is OK (at least he was dealt with quickly)

Poor Vegas :blink: typical cocker though....... now if you had wanted him to eat 4 of the tablets??? NO CHANCE.

Lottie's like a turbo powered vacuum cleaner, she'd have eaten the lot before I'd have had time to bend down :blink:

Poor Vegas, he's nearly always in the wars isn't he ? Hope he gets better soon, Gill. :)

(Misty would have wolfed those pills down too without giving it a second thought . :rolleyes: )

He's feeling much better now :D  I've never seen him look as miserable as he did this morning - bet it won't put him off though :rolleyes: The vet said they weren't in his system long enough to cause any organ damage but he'll be getting a blood test before his G/A on Tuesday just in case ;)
