Get well soon, Bailey, here's hoping it's just a cyst and you have a speedy recovery. :)

I'm not sure I'd like to be told it may be a tumour when it could only be a cyst. Then again, I suppose the vets are damned if they do, damned if they don't. :?

Poor Bailey,

I have everything crossed, hope it's just a cyst and they're just being overly careful.

I know what you mean Colin, I was a bit shocked  this morning when our vet told me this but I'm so glad that she did now as if hopefully it does only turn out to be a cyst then I will be sooooooo thankful that thats all it is but if, and I really really hope that it's a big IF it does turn out to be a tumour, then I will be prepared for that, and be able to deal with it for Bailey if that was the case, but I'm really hopeful and thinking positively that Bailey will make a full recovery without the need for surgery

Ohhh, worry time again indeed.

We're all thinking about little Bailey.  Fingers crossed that the medication does the trick for the little mite.

Oh poor little Bailey. I hope the antibiotics work ok.

Wesley had a little lump grow on the side of his lip which was angry and red. Took him to the vets and surgery was the only option. Turned out to be a harmless hystiocytoma.

I am sure Bailey will be fine, I hae everything crossed for you. Aimee and Wesley have got their paws crossed at the moment too. They are fast asleep by my side

Take care and keep us all posted.

Missed this thread earlier  :?  What a worry for you Maria.  Poor little Bailey - it's good that he doesn't seem bothered by it though, much more distressing when they look unwell :(   Fingers srossed here, too, that it's just a cyst!!  :)

thanks so much guy's for all the finger crossing and get well wishes for Bailey, hopefully it's done the trick  .

Bailey hasn't been very well all weekend and has barely eaten a thing, I ensured that he has been drinking plenty though and tried to encourage him to eat by adding a little chicken to his nutro and although he wasn't up to eating he did manage to seperate all the chicken from the nutro and eat that up

This morning after he had his anti-biotic i tried to put his cream on the lump and it was huge!!!!!!!!! and when I touched it it was so hard and hot and then all green gunge came out!!!!  :?  I'm presuming this is a good thing as Bailey seems to have perked up a little bit and even went for a little walk with me this afternoon which he wasn't up to at the weekend. The lump seems to be much smaller too   so I'm hoping that all's well and I'll have my little man back to normal in no time at all  :D  :D  :D
