That's a funny thing! We've been waiting a whole month to take Millybelle out for her first walk. We were definitely more excited than she was - as obviously she didn't know what to expect - and although she appeared to put up with the experience, and certainly didn't fall asleep, she seemed rather worried and spent a lot of time squeaking and appearing stressed. We jollied her along and she seemed to be OK. But later that evening (and again this evening) she was even more out of her tree than normal!
We usually get a funny fifty minutes or so at the end of the day, but last night and tonight she was almost uncontrollable. So much so that my OH decided that it was bed time for her slightly earlier than usual. We just couldn't cope.
So why was that? We were really looking forward to a quieter puppy after all this extra exercise, but in actual fact it seems to have stirred her up!
So it somehow doesn't surprise me that Zak's less than enthusiastic about a walk. Perhaps its all too scary somehow!
