What toys does your puppy like most?

I've got a puppy kong, what else shall I get?

(if anyone has a puppy kong - what size have you got? I saw them on a website and it said medium for a cocker but I've bought one from the local pet shop and now realised in the pack it says I should have got small :( )

I actually bought it from Jollyes but I've seen them in most pet shops and on the internet. I think they have their own website, am I allowed to post a link?

We actually got a puppy kong (they are green and white) and they only like them when you stuff them with food........keeps them busy for ages though !

My two love their tug rope - you can buy those anywhere, they also use it as a chew when they were teething.

They also love things that squeak - their favourite being a squeaky dice !

Molly loves the tug rope too.  She also loves her cuddly dog that she takes to bed with her and carries around.   I have  small kong but haven't used it too much as the pigs ears go down so well. :D

Buddy loves his cuddly toys (bought from charity shops, safe-looking with no button eyes etc.

At the same time, I bought a big fat hair scrunchy and he adores that! Uses it as a retrieve toy, as a tug and as a useful bit of rag to chew. :P

Balls he can take or leave, squeaky toys are ok, but frightened him a bit at first.

Hates nylabone!!!! Pity I got the puppy triple pack! :(

it sounds like the best thing would be for me to just get a couple of other bits, maybe a tug rope and a cuddly toy and see how we go.

I didn't want to spend lots of money on things he/she wouldn't like.

Sounds like the best things in life are free as far as puppies are concerned ;)

I've heard a few people say their pups/dogs weren't interested in those nylabones - does anyone's pup/dog like them?

I'd swear by Kongs! All the dogs I've ever had have loved them. We even have the one that floats for beach days :D

Scully and Oscar both have their favourite cuddly toys too. Scully has a mouse (Mousie-Mousie   ) and Oscar has a teddy bear (one designed for dogs, not one with hard eyes or nose  ).

Other than that Scully has never really been a 'toy' sort of dog, but Oscar will play with any toy! He has a whole enormous box full of them; balls, soft toys, tug ropes, nylabone bones, nylabone turkey leg, squeaky toys, a monkey on a wheel  , a Crufts BIS rosette    , and lots of other things too

Just don't tell my OH how much they all cost!!!!
