The vet has just called to say that no abnormalities were detected on the endoscopy.  After discussing it with the vet, he is now being opened up and if there is nothing obvious that is causing the problem, then a few biopsies will be taken from the GI tract. I have to call back at 1.30 to find out how he is doing.

To say I feel sick would be an understatement :(

I wont say try not to worry, because we all would in your shoes. Hang in there Gill. He's in the best hands. I really hope that this time the vet can get to the bottom of Vegas' problems  :(

I've just been to pick him up and he is feeling very sorry for himself. Didn't stop him chewing his drip out 30 mins before I got there though :rolleyes:
He's lying in his bed whilst I prepare the chicken ;)

He had enlarged lymph nodes so a biopsy of one of those has gone with all the others. It may signal infection but I'm prepared for the fact it could be cancer. His litter brother was diagnosed with lymphoma when he was just under 2 years old. Should get the results in at the beginning of next week so its just a case of waiting now.
