Hi Jo,

Glad to hear little Woody's learning his manners!! one thing you'll soon understand about cockers is that they are very bright ( of course )!! 8) and pick things up very quickly.

Sorry can't help with the cat training, I have a ginger tom Tigger who does as he pleases, as most cats do I suppose!!

Neo is my 2 yr old blue roan and whines constantly whilst the food is being prepared, pacing up and down. Jovi is 4.5 mths and sits quietly by the feeding mat.. so I don't think it's an age thing.  I don't know how to stop Neo at all....

But both dogs sit and wait giving me their undivided eye contact whilst the bowls are put on the floor and only get to eat when I tap them on the heads.  I thought that would take ages for Jovi to get to grips with but it only took about a week or so.  He can now wait at least 10 secs very patiently ;o)

If anyone can solve the whining I'd be grateful, but I think Neo's just vocal in that way  :D
