My Boy Is A Big Boy Now

Hi everyone - I was very excited today :)  when I took Finley for a walk because his has finally cocked his leg, at thirteen and half months old.  I was so proud of him, looks like our morning walk may take double the time as he stops at each lamp post, telegraph poll, wall etc.

Once they start they just don't stop :rolleyes: !! Harvey found he could do it at 6 months…Si was nearly 18 months
....just hoping that ickle dixie doesn't discover he can do it quite as early :blink: !

I don't think Disney will be too far behind - he's started sniffing other 'pee spots' and will squat over them to make his mark. Thats what Dallas did before he started cocking his leg so should be any time now ;)

:( Bailey is 20 months now and is still not cocking his leg up :huh: . He squats like a girlie :blink: Will he ever do it? or will he be a squatter for ever? My friends cocker is the same, he's 21 months :blink:

Alfie`s been cocking his leg for a while he`s such a pro now he doesn`t need a tree or post he just cocks it in the air to mark the grass.problem is it`s a squirt here then there :blink: boy our walks can take forever :lol: ,mind you 1st wee of the day is always long but he still finds some more if he wants to mark somewhere :P

Domino started cocking his leg at about 8 months-a bit shakily at first but now he has a very straight aim!! :lol:  :lol: Spike ,however, didn't really cock his leg until he was about 18 months-by which time he had been castrated;although he lifts his leg he will still squat if the scent is low down.

Molo cocks his leg maybe once or twice a week - the rest of the time he squats  :rolleyes:

I am sooooo proud - 8mth old Beau cocked his leg for the first time last night too!!

There is only one bush in the garden that he does it on, the rest of the time he squats, but last night he decided that in order to thoroughly soak this bush, he needed some sideways action!!  :lol:
