Help With Photos

First of all i am not a computer wizz...very basic things i can do lol. I am trying to upload some pictures, now, i think (and correct me if i am wrong) that i need to create an album then a message in the forum with a link to it. (sounds good so far), however when i try and create an album it says they are too large, is there any way round it?  Or am i completely on the wrong track?

You have to compress the pictures first. I couldnt understand why they wouldnt upload but i realised after a while

Think i will wait for hubby to come home then, i have no idea how you do that..lol Thanks thoughx
