Well, was trimming (and de-matting

) Honey earlier, and discovered she'd been chewing at her armpit... figuring there was a bad matt that was bothering her, as she's matting really easily at the minute and avoiding grooming as often as she can, I went to trim back, and noticed the skin looked sore... worried for a moment that I'd missed a really big matt and it had caused the soreness, I trimmed back, to find 2 pieces of plant matter sticking out of very clear holes... they were about an inch long each, and hollow, so looked like bits of hay or something... and there's a huge lump in her armpit.
Cue trip to the vets. Anyway, vet worried that there may be more in there, so she is booked in for lump removal on Friday... poor doggie.
She hates the vets, and has only ever been there for spay and vaccinations, so this isn't going to help matters...
