Heartbroken all over again
« on: February 28, 2013, 01:17:51 PM »
When we lost Poppy nearly 4 years ago we scattered her ashes in the garden where she loved to play  :luv: because we knew she wouldn't have wanted to stay in a box  :'( :'(. Well 2 years later we then lost my Pebbles  :'( :'( and I couldn't bring myself to part with her when we got her ashes back  :'(. Deep down I knew that she would have wanted to be with Poppy in the garden but I just couldn't bring myself to do it  :'(, well today being the beautiful day that it is I scattered her ashes with Poppy  :'( :'(.  I can quite honestly say I know I have done the right thing, but it just feels like my heart has been ripped out all over again and I just can't stop crying  :'( :'(.
Please treausre your furbaby's while you have them cause honestly this has broken me  :luv: :luv: x x x

I'm so sorry for your losses you must be understandably heart broken. Just try, if you can to imagine your fury ones out there today enjoying the sunshine together.
Lots of love to you xx

Di

So sorry to hear that.

I have three cockers buried in my garden, Cassie, Daisy and Fudge. When Danny died he was too big to bury so we had him cremated and when his ashes came back I buried them straight away, with some of his hair we had left out for the birds when he was last trimmed. I wanted to bury him in a prominent position and it just happened a rose had died, so dug his grave and put the fur and the ashes in it and then planted a lovely scented rose "SWEET DREAMS" over him. When I stood up I realised the "LADY" statue we have was looking right down on him. I don't know if it was fate, but it made me feel a lot better and we now have somewhere I can go and talk to him, just as I do with Cassie, Daisy and Fudge.

Take the positives that you loved them, they loved you and you did all you could for them  :'( :'(

A big hug from me.  They leave such a big cocker shaped hole in our hearts that never quite heals.  xx

Aww Dianne  :bigarmhug:  We lost our lovely Ben just over 2 years ago.  We have a very small garden and don't intend to live here forever, so decided to scatter his ashes somewhere he loved going for walks when we were away in the caravan. It is a lovely place and we have many happy memories and photos of him there.  We don't go there anymore though because just minutes after we had scattered his ashes, Ruby (then 14 weeks old)  did a poo behind our caravan, on our pitch (which I picked up immediately) but I had all kinds of verbal abuse from the guy on the next pitch   >:( At the time I was already very emotional, so ended up shaking and in tears  >:D  It has put us off returning, but we always think of him when we drive past  :luv:

Just try and take comfort from the fact that your furbaby's are together and near you... :luv:
Lynn

Millie died 3yrs this April, I still have her ashes. At the beginning like you I could not let her go, we had decided to scatter her ashes on Southport beach as this was one of her favourite places. But we have just moved to Wales and have decided to scatter her on the beach which we can see from our house. So when we look out she will be there.  Think we will do it at Easter.

You've done a brave thing on a beautiful sunny day and now your girls are together.
Now remember them with a smile and think of all the happy times with them :) x
